Concerned by the industry's shift towards industrialization—where additives and synthetic sugars were used to reduce agave content and expedite production—Gutierrez sought to counteract this trend. World Class Tequilas focuses on exporting premium tequilas crafted using traditional techniques, ensuring that the rich heritage and quality of authentic tequila are maintained for discerning consumers worldwide.

In September 2024, Gutierrez applied for a trademark for "Tequila Yoyo," reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to innovation within traditional practices.

Through these efforts, World Class Tequilas aims to safeguard the cultural legacy of tequila craftsmanship, offering products that honor time-honored methods in an increasingly industrialized market.
